Arch Invests in Ramparts Business Park, Northumberland

Northumberland’s development company, Arch, have acquired 2,509 sq m of offices and 1.2 hectares of development land at Ramparts Business Park in Berwick-Upon-Tweed from the previous owner, Gladmans.

This recent investment will help create new development opportunities in Berwick, providing a platform for additional commercial floor space and the creation of around 100 new jobs for the local area.

Ramparts Business Park is a multi-occupied site located to the North of Berwick upon Tweed with immediate access on to the A1. The park features existing office and industrial premises with land investment opportunities available.

The existing units offer modern open plan accommodation with on-site parking and the units are available To Let on either easy in/out flexible terms or long-term lease hold investment. The land offers opportunity to develop a mix of speculative and custom made units for end users.

The areas acquired by Arch on the business park will also benefit from the newly-expanded North East Enterprise Zone, which will come into effect in spring next year. The Enterprise Zone will offer benefits to businesses wishing to grow or locate in Berwick, including up to five years Business Rates Relief for those establishing operations within the Enterprise Zone footprint. The team at Arch will also be able to offer bespoke business support by working directly with businesses to understand growth aspirations and develop a programme of support which tailors to their needs.
