Phonovation, a Dublin based Fintech and Mobile Technology company who opened a technical hub in Baltic Quarter, Gateshead in 2017 is again expanding its operation in the North East because of increased growth within the Fintech sector.
Phonovation provide banking security services using mobile networks and the company has seen significant growth within the last 12 months
Speaking about the expansion Paddy Woods, Director said,
“With the assistance of Guy Currey at Invest North East England and Kerry Walker at Gateshead Council we quickly identified the large and highly skilled talent pool in the area and that’s why we chose Gateshead for our technical hub. The North East of England is best placed to deliver the skills required to grow and service this fast paced and technically challenging sector.
“We are looking to recruit an additional three more .Net Developers immediately to add to our technical team which will bring the total headcount to seven and the plan is to increase this to 10 within 6 months.”
