Located next to the North Sea Link, the world’s longest subsea interconnector linking the UK and Norway, Northumberland Energy Park Phase 2 offers a greenfield development opportunity for businesses operating in the energy sector. The site is part of Northumberland Energy Park which is home to JDR Cables who are building a subsea cable manufacturing facility, providing vital technology to the offshore wind market. The 69,000sqm factory is supported by His Majesty’s Government and the Secretary of State as part of the DESNZ Offshore Wind Manufacturing Investment Support Scheme.
