Description

Neptune Energy Park is a designated Enterprise Zone (EZ). It occupies 21.2ha (18.4ha EZ, with a further 2.79ha extension identified, including the dry dock, quay edge and Woodside Avenue site) Site size 18.4 (+0.79 dry dock and 0.79 quay edge) Existing tenants on the site include GE Oil & Gas, Bridon-Bekaert, IHC (Fraser Hydraulics), JDR, and Newcastle University. The remaining dry dock is currently being used by BAM/EDF to construct 5 steel and concrete GBF’s (Gravity Base Foundations) for the EDF Blyth Offshore Wind Demonstrator project. We provide a fully integrated offshore supply base at our Neptune Energy Park facilities. We ensure safe and effective added value support and on-time delivery of product to projects. Shepherd Offshore has developed and funded these bespoke facilities and manufacturing clusters with the company value of focusing on providing first class services to compliment these manufacturing companies so they can compete globally.
