Bates Clean Energy Terminal is located at The Port of Blyth in Northumberland. The terminal is served by two berths that can support heavy lift operations and offers up to 7.6m LAT. On site there is a RoRo pontoon, more that 16,000sqm of warehousing and workshop space as well as a marine fuels facility.
5 hectares of full remediated prime quayside development land are available at the 17 hectare terminal.
The Bates Clean Energy Terminal will be a key element in the drive towards port electrification in Blyth as part of support for national Net Zero 2050 targets. This will include moves to deliver shore-to-ship power and the decarbonisation of plant and equipment including everything from forklift trucks to heavy lift cranes.
