Description:
Northumberland Energy Park Phase 2 is located within Energy Central, the premier offshore energy base at Port of Blyth. The site offers 35 hectares of greenfield land and is the location of the North Sea Link (UK/Norway Interconnector site) which is the longest subsea interconnector in the world.
A service corridor provides quay access with deep-water (9.0 LAT) and jack up barge capabilities. Access to four additional deep water berths are available at nearby Battleship Wharf.
Northumberland Energy Park will be home to Britishvolt who are building their first Gigafactory on nearby Phase 1, due to open in 2024. The Gigafactory will produce lithium-ion batteries and employ up to 3000 people.
This location has renewable energy at its core and offers investors the opportunity to be part of the UK’s low carbon future.
