Parseq to Create 700 Jobs in Sunderland

Parseq is set for further expansion in Sunderland following a multi-million pound increase in business from contract wins which will see the firm create more than 700 new jobs.

The firm, which operates from Doxford International Business Park, has pledged to bolster its 1,000 Sunderland workforce by a further 700 and invest a six figure sum in the development of a centre of excellence by acquiring a second site in the city.

Graham Stein, contact centre managing director at Parseq says: “We have a fantastic team in Sunderland and their hard work and loyalty has created the platform for new contract wins and further employment opportunities in the north east.

“Our people are without question one of our most valuable assets and a main contributor to us retaining 100 per cent of all the clients we acquired with the business back in 2014 in addition to a catalogue new contracts we have introduced since.

“We are delighted to announce our continued investment in Sunderland’s rich workforce and business network.”

Parseq has pledged to invest more than a million pounds to develop the careers of its people based in Sunderland and its other UK offices in Glasgow, Rotherham, London and Brighton.

The firm employs more than 2,500 nationally and represents some of the UK’s most respected blue-chip companies including the top ten international banks, a third of the country’s utility sector, financial and insurance services.

Chief executive officer, Tony Strong adds: “Parseq’s success is driven by our ability to attract and retain the best talent, to achieve consistent profitable growth, demonstrate operational excellence and putting the customer at the heart of our business. This is evident in our Sunderland operation and we’re thrilled to be expanding further in the city.”
