Services for Investors

We have been assisting companies setting up in the UK since 1998. Our clients range from UK based SMEs to multinational inward investors.

Often inward investors have limited knowledge of the grants and funding regime, compliance regulations and tax legislation in the UK.  We are able to help in these areas and we have excellent contacts with intermediaries such as lawyers, bankers, inward investment agencies, Local Authorities and organisations that will work together to make the initial stages of setting up a UK business as seamless as possible.

Our services to inward investors fall into four areas:

Corporate Finance

We have a specialist grants team who have, between them 65years’ experience in helping companies apply for regional and national grants towards initial investment costs, including preparing strategic and commercial business plans and financial models. We also act on behalf of many grant providers so have an in depth knowledge of the process.

We can also provide help with raising funding from banks, specialist lenders, venture capital and private equity funds, or carrying out financial and commercial due diligence for overseas investors wishing to acquire UK businesses.

Taxation

Both our corporate and personal tax teams provide a comprehensive compliance and tax advisory service, taking the time to understand each of our client’s needs. We get involved in detail with Companies House and HMRC registrations, management of compliance requirements and tax efficient structuring and remuneration.

We also have specialist dedicated employment taxes and VAT teams who can provide planning advice plus reporting and compliance services, including advice on import duties and Freeports.

Outsourced accounting

Our accounting services team can offer a complete outsourced accounting function including cloud accounting, management reporting, payroll, consultancy, HR services and IT systems.

Audit and Assurance

Our audit and assurance team can provide support with preparation of UK GAAP accounts, statutory audits, data analytics and internal audit services.
