Advance Northumberland, is supporting Northumberland’s largest Cyberfest Manufacturing event, as part of the wider #CyberFest North East programme.
This interactive event for Northumberland based businesses covers Cyber in a changing business environment including managing disruption caused by digital technology and the fallout of cyber as business models are changing.
The event will be held at Alnwick Castle, on Tuesday 24th September 2019 – from 4pm to 6.45pm. It will see around 100 delegates exploring cyber technology and security within the advance manufacturing sector – an important contributor to Northumberland’s economy
This key sector in Northumberland is evolving – with Industry 4.0 and adoption of automation and digitalisation in advance manufacturing, our county’s businesses need to be aware of the opportunities this adoption can have on their operations and explore what this means in regards to cyber technology and protection.
Speakers on the evening include Caroline Churchill and Peter Snaith of Womble Bond Dickinson, Marianne Whitfield from Metrology software products on ‘The changing shape of advanced manufacturing’, Rod Kelly Head of IT at Alnwick Castle and Northumberland Estates, Adrian Allen OBE, Executive Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) Group and Phil Jackman, from Dynamo North East on The Growing Regional Cyber Opportunity.
This event is free to attend and is open to all employees, as well as directors, managers of any size organisation, 3rd sector, public, private, academia, students, entrepreneurs, politicians, media and interested public.
The event is brought to you and hosted by Northumberland Estates, Womble Bond Dickinson and Dynamo North East.
